Earl Wayne Madison, 64, of St. Joseph, Michigan, a beloved Father, Brother, and Grandfather, passed on September 1, 2015, peacefully in his sleep.
Wayne was born April 20, 1951 in Teague, Texas to Shannon and Ruth Madison. He graduated from St. Joseph High School Class of 1969.He graduated from Western Michigan University with his Master’s in Business Administration.
He is survived by 5 children,his sons, Shannon and Aaron, and daughters, Chelsea, Megan and Katie and his 4 grandchildren, Tajanae, DJ, Jayden and Kalen.
Wayne is also survived by his mother Ruth, his brother Mike, and his 3 sisters, Stephanie, Sharron and Maria.
Wayne was a leader with technology and applications, an educator, and owned his own business, Blue Flying Fish. He enjoyed contributing to the community and assisted Habitat for Humanity with their website. Wayne is well remembered often for the smile on his face and the cowboy hat and jean jacket he loved to wear.Wayne enjoyed training dogs and horses, skipping stones at the beach, playing chess, writing poetry, listening to jazz, appreciating art, spending time with family, and creating websites.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2pm, Sunday October 4, at Starks &Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road, in St. Joseph, Michigan. Friends may visit with the family from 1pm -2pm Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America and/or Habitat for Humanity.
