Anna Veine, 69, of Bridgman, MI passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.
A Celebration of Life Eternal will be held 5:00 P.M. Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Starks and Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Glenn Rosenbaum officiating. Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery at a later date. Friends may visit from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Anna was born August 23, 1946 in Webster County, West Virginia to Arden & Ellen (Gibson) Phares. On June 27, 1964 she married Lee Henslee and then on May 15, 1992 she married Robert Veine in St. Joseph. Anna worked for Berrien Tool and Die for many years as a machine operator. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, drawing, reading-especially her Bible and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Anna is survived by her children Roy (Nickol) Henslee of Bridgman, Glenda (Brian) Wiese of Baroda, Kristine (Ralph) Lucius of South Haven, Sarah Veine of St. Joseph, six grandchildren Samantha (Dusten) Burrows, Brandon Henslee, Bailey Wiese, Lauren Veine and Joshua & Dorian Lucius; great grandchild Emery Grace Burrows; and sisters Phyllis Fox and Fran Babbs. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Veine and brothers Jim and John Phares.
