Joan Kathleen Bly

Joan Bly, 79, of Stevensville, MI passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at her home. Private services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services 556-9450. Joan was born July 19, 1936 in Benton Harbor, MI to William Binger and Margaret Alma Berndt. On March 8, 1958 Joan married Donald D. Bly in St. Joseph, MI. Joan was a member at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stevensville. She loved beautiful flowers and tending to her garden. Joan was proud of her granddaughter, Brittany Bly, and enjoyed attending Brittany’s horse shows. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family. Joan is survived by her husband of 57 years, Donald Bly; two sons Donnie (Lisa) Bly of Stevensville, MI and Grant (Cindy) Bly of St. Joseph, MI; and one granddaughter Brittany Bly. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters Shirley Courtson and Mildred Rock.
