Barbara A. “Barbie” Snyder, 76, of Benton Harbor passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 at Glen Home in Benton Harbor.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rev. Mark Mitchell officiating. Burial to follow at Shanghai Cemetery in Eau Claire. Friends may visit Thursday, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Home or Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Those wishing to sign Barbara’s guestbook may do so online at www.starks-menchinger.com.
Barbie was born April 16, 1939 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Carl & Helen (Kerstetter) Snyder. She attended Seeley-McCord School in Benton Harbor, where her mother was employed. Barbie will be remembered for always being happy, her love for dogs, especially her dachshund, and birds.
Barbie is survived by her good friends, Carol & Ron LoPresti, Suzanne Snyder, her aunt Dorothy Hartline, several cousins and also the loving staff at Glen Home in Benton Harbor. She was preceded in death by her parents.
