William “Bill” Kulich, 93, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Fr. William Jacobs Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. Friends may visit from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Bill was born January 17, 1922 in Mt. Union, PA to Stephen & Agatha (Krstopowich) Kulich. He served his country in the United States Army. On October 11, 1947 he married Laverne Gitersonke in St. Joseph. Bill worked for Star Stamping Co. as a Plant Forman for 34 years in Benton Harbor. He was a member of the Benton Harbor Elks Lodge 544 and enjoyed spending time with his McDonalds breakfast club. Bill loved his family and friends, had a great sense of humor, and was a very caring and generous man.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Laverne Kulich of St. Joseph; son Steven (Candy) Kulich of Coloma; daughter Carole (John) Shaeffer of Cary, N.C.; four grandchildren; three step grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his parents and sister Elizabeth Cayo.
