Valerie loved crafts and making homemade cards and invitations, traveling the world and spending time with family and friends. Valerie and her husband, Mike, loved to entertain and hosted an annual Margarita Party for the past 17 years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. How we will most remember Valerie is for her infectious laugh, her bright and beautiful smile and caring giving personality.  A perfect quote for her love of life states:  “This life is for loving, sharing, learning, smiling, caring, forgiving, laughing, hugging, helping, dancing, wondering, healing, and even more loving.”  ~ Steve Maraboli Valerie is survived by her loving husband Mike, daughter Madison Romeo of St. Joseph; sons Randy (Mary Kay) Romeo of Boise, Idaho; Joe (Beth Mitchell) Romeo of Kalamazoo; daughter Jenna Pounders of St. Joseph; her mother Sharon Fisher-Mason of Stevensville; sisters Paula (Brian) Cerney of East Dundee, IL; Leslie (Joel) Peterson of Stevensville; two grandchildren Vita and Kai Romeo; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.  She was preceded in death by her father Lawrence R.
