Lovie Geraldine Clark

Lovie Geraldine Clark, 88, of St. Joseph, passed away June 11, 2015 at The Willows in St. Joseph.  A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, June 15, 2015 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Pastor Bob Confer officiating.  Friends may visit with the family before the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A private burial will be held at Riverview Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to a charity of donor’s choice. Those who wishing to sign Lovie’s guestbook may do so online at www.starks-menchinger.com.   Lovie was born May 17, 1927 to Theodore B. and Zada “Sadie” (Prisvek) Langston in Leachville, Arkansas, where she also married her husband, Virgil L. Clark on May 29, 1945.  She retired after many years of building circuit boards for Leco Corporation, Heath and VM Corporation.    She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Jerry) Ronan of St. Joseph; sons, Jim Clark and Robert Clark of Alabama; five grandchildren; and eight loving great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Virgil (Aug. 29, 1997), son Fred Clark (May 18, 2007) and great-grandchild, Ashley (Feb. 7, 1991), four brothers and one sister.
