Richard “Rick” Barlow, 52, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Royalton Manor in St. Joseph. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 211 Church St., St. Joseph with Fr. Jim Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in St. Joseph. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with Liturgical Prayers recited at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorials may be made to Lake Michigan Catholic Schools. Those wishing to share a memory of Rick online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com Rick was born October 17, 1962 in St. Joseph, MI to Edward D. Sr. & Yvonne (McGrane) Barlow. He attended Blossomland Learning Center. Rick was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and helped out with the Saturday evening mass. Rick enjoyed long walks along the bluff with his dad as well as his Friday afternoon visits with State Street shop owners and happy hour. He also enjoyed painting and photography and dinner at the Whitcomb. Rick is survived by his father Edward D. Barlow Sr.; three sisters Kay Barlow-Segrave of St. Joseph, Mary Beth (Joe) Marsala of Beverly Farms, MA, and Anne Barlow; nieces & nephews Emily (Andrew) Cheff, Alan (Nichole) Segrave, Maggie Segrave, Carrie Barlow, Timothy Barlow, Chloe Marsala and Peter Marsala; great nephews Alex Cheff and Aiden Cheff; sister-in-law Linda Barlow; and by many family members, friends and caregivers that over the years have made Rick’s life so enjoyable. Rick was preceded in death by his mother Yvonne in 2011, brother Ed Barlow, Jr. in 2015 and brother-in-law Jeff Segrave in 1998.
