Jamie Sue Hickok Goldner Conrad, 51, of St. Joseph, MI went home to her Lord and Savior on April 8, 2015 at Great Lakes Specialty Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI.
A Celebration of Life Eternal will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Grace Lutheran Church, 404 E. Glenlord Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev. Glenn Rosenbaum officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorials may be made to Geneva Camp and Retreat Center in Holland, Michigan and Grace Lutheran Church and School in Saint Joseph, Michigan. Jamie was born on February 13, 1964 in St. Joseph, MI to Richard & Dianne Hickok. She graduated from Michigan Lutheran High School in 1982 and from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. On October 24th 1987 she married Michael Conrad in St. Joseph and God blessed their marriage with two wonderful children Cara and Mitchell. Jamie’s faith in God was evident in everything she did, from raising her children and taking care of her husband, to volunteering and giving help and advice to her friends.
Jamie is survived by her husband Mike Conrad; daughter Cara Conrad; son Mitchell Conrad; father and step-mother Dick & Diana Hickok; mother and step-father Dianne & Ronald McCord; sisters Lynn Goldner – Spear and Beth (Dewey) Parker; brothers Richard (Jennifer) Hickok and Robert (Casie) Hickok; and many nieces and nephews.
Jamie was preceded in death by her adopted father Chuck Goldner.
Although she will be missed, Jamie’s Confirmation verse stands as a reminder to her family and friends of where she is today and where they will be reunited someday;
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.”
John 10:27-28
