Shirley Tobian

Shirley Tobian, 91, formerly of Benton Harbor & Stevensville, passed away, Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in Indianapolis where she resided most recently. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Shirley was born September 25, 1923 in Benton Harbor to Simon & Leah (Rosenberg) Walper.  She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1941.  On August 20, 1950 she married Meyer Tobian in Benton Harbor.  Shirley was a member of Temple B’nai Shalom in Benton Harbor, loved to read, and watch sports, especially the Chicago Sports Teams. Shirley is survived by her sons-Jeff (Joyce) Tobian of Boca Raton, FL, Sam (Dr. Janet) Tobian of Indianapolis; grandchildren-Beth Alberts, Ben Tobian, Bryan Tobian, Mike Eisenhart & Mindy Eisenhart; and six great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Meyer Tobian on March 24, 2003, her parents, and her twin sister Marion Frank.
