Rosalie's Obituary
Rosalie Concetta Koch of Saint Joseph Township, Michigan, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, unexpectedly died on May 1, 2015. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 5 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Starks-Menchinger Chapel located at 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph, Michigan. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 6 at 5 p.m. at Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle located at 945 Chippewa Street, Buchanan. Rosalie was a beautician for 54 years, opening Continental Beauty Salon in 1973 located on Lakeview Blvd, currently Lakeview Beachcomber. She continued serving customers at a shop in her home. Rosalie was married to the love of her life, John Koch III, for 26 years and enjoyed spending time with her family and serving Italian meals. She was a faithful fan of the Saint Louis Cardinals Baseball and Notre Dame Football. She loved feeding the seagulls at Lions Park, walking on the North Pier, taking Saugatuck Dune Rides, going to amusement parks, dancing, and helping people in need.
Rosalie has been a member of Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle (Buchanan) for 18 years pastored by Reverend Paul Deeds and also attends Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle (Berrien Springs) pastored by her son Reverend Chuck Gray.
Rosalie is survived by her husband John Koch III, brother Pete Venezia, her children Dana Gray (Jerry), Kim Koch, Carla Gray Weiser (Allen), John Koch IV (Stacie), Chuck Gray (Jill), Tonya Venezia (Jason), Bryan Koch (Julie Anna); her grandchildren Paige Ward (James), Bowen Paxson, Alexa Koch (Brandon), Haley Yow, Elijah Gray, Luciano Hill, Justin Koch, Isaiah Gray, Nathan Koch, and Hudson and Graham Koch; and her great-grandchildren Landon and Jackson Ward.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Zechariah Gray, and her parents Jasper and Angelina Venezia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sunday School Department at Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle in Buchanan.
