Gerald G Ostrowski

Gerald G. Ostrowski, 79, of Dowagiac, passed away at his home on Sat. Jan. 13, 2018. Arrangements have been entrusted to Clark Chapel in Dowagiac, 405 Center Street. Gerald was born in Dowagiac on Nov. 3, 1938 to the late Zigmont and Betty (Fuller) Ostrowski. He proudly served his country while in the U.S. Army. Gerald was a licensed contractor and owned and operated his business in Dowagiac ‘Ostrowski Plumbing & Heating’ until his retirement. He was a member of the Dowagiac American Legion and was very active in the Cass County Republican Party where he also served as a convention delegate. Gerald is survived by his son – Andrew Ostrowski of Dowagiac. He is preceded in death by his parents – Zigmont and Betty, Andrew’s mother – Debra Van Nuys, and a brother – Joseph. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2:00 P.M. at Clark Chapel Clark Chapel, 405 Center St., Dowagiac with Pastor Stacey Wilder officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
