Kenneth “Pete” Vincent, 73, of Berrien Springs, passed away, Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at his home.  A Celebration of Life Gathering will be announced at a later date.  Memorials may be made to Hinchman United Methodist Church in Hinchman or the Korean Seventh-day Adventist Church in Berrien Springs.  Those wishing to sign Pete’s Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.  Pete was born November 29, 1941 in Niles, Michigan to Vernon  & Susan (Lemon) Vincent.  He graduated from Berrien Springs High School in 1959.  On March 27, 1960, he married the former Marjorie Stemm at Hinchman United Methodist Church.  Pete was a life-long area resident and farmer.  He started farming with his father at a very young age and later owned and operated Vincent Orchards & Vineyards and Pete’s U-Pick in Berrien Springs.  Farming was his life.   Pete cherished the time spent with his family.  He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, & tending to his horses.  Pete is survived by his wife Marjorie; two daughters-Valerie Vincent & Leslie Vincent-both of Berrien Springs; three grandchildren-Melissa (Jim) Hensley, Kenneth (Marife) Bennett, Ashlee (Benjamin) Newcomer; three great-grandchildren-Jimmy Hensley, Lillee & Hailee Newcomer; his sister Joan Jasper of St. Joseph; his brother Michael (Kathy) Vincent of St. Joseph; his sister-in-law Betty Vincent of Lansing, MI; and numerous nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents Vernon & Susan Vincent, two brothers-George & Robert Vincent, and his brother-in-law Dale Jasper.
