Terris “Quann” Brooks 34, formerly of Benton Harbor passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 8:01 A.M. at his residence in Berrien Springs. A Celebration of Home Going will be held Tuesday, February 10, at 11 AM at Starks and Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rev. Brian Clayborn officiating.  Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice 2725 Airview Blvd Ste. 101 Portage, MI 49002.  Those wishing to sign Quann’s guestbook may do so online at www.starks-menchinger.com. Quann was born to Pamela Jean Brooks in Benton Harbor May 1, 1980. He graduated from Blossomland Learning Center in 2006. Quann enjoyed playing out doors and spending time in parks playing on the swings and slides, and playing basketball. He also spent his free time swimming, listening to music, and watching TV. Quann also loved eating; his favorite food was chicken nuggets. Quann leaves to cherish his memories to his loving and devoted brother Jason (Nakia) Brooks Sr.; Grandmother Ella Mae Washington; nieces and nephew-Adrianna, Ja’Keya & Jason Brooks, Jr.; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins & extended family; and his special friends Steve and Mike. He was preceded in death by his loving mother Pamela Brooks, Grandfather Phillip Washington Sr., and his Uncle Gary Washington Sr.
