Rick A. Hill

Rick Hill, 60, of Stevensville, passed away, Monday, March 2, 2015 at home. He has requested no service or memorial.  Flowers are gratefully declined and in lieu, the family requests donations be made in his name to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan in honor of his love for his feline friends.  He welcomes everyone to toast to him at his favorite establishment, 221 Main in St. Joseph.  Those wishing to sign Rick’s Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Rick was born February 10, 1955 in St. Joseph.  He was the younger of two children born to Richard & Evelyn (Edinger) Hill.  He worked as a self-employed carpenter most of his life and his memory will live on through the homes he helped beautify.  Rick was kind, carefree and witty.  He tried to share his smile and laughter with everyone he encountered. Rick is survived by his father Richard Hill; his brother Scott (Kimberly) Hill; his dear friend Lisa, her son Gage; and his large extended family.  He was preceded by his mother Evelyn in 2006.
