Alice Mae Barnes Fecho

Alice Mae Barnes Fecho, 83, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Friday, February 20, 2015 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 914 Lane Dr., St. Joseph with Rev. Dennis Remenschneider officiating. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday, February 19, 2015 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church or the American Cancer Society. Those wishing to share a memory of Alice online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com  Alice was born April 18, 1931 in Ypsilanti, MI to James & Elsie (Fischer) Barnes. Alice worked for School Shop Magazine and Education Digest as an Advertising Production Manager. On June 18, 2005 she married Rinehold Fecho in Harbert, MI. Alice was a loving person and loved being around people. She enjoyed spending time at Coon Lake, Base Lake and Lake Michigan. She also loved to draw, paint, camp, travel and garden.  Alice is survived by her husband Rinehold Fecho; children Janet (Eric) Anderson, Karen LaFond; step-children Christine (Tom) Dixon, Jeff (Cecelia) Fecho and Scott (Susan) Fecho; 10 grandchildren; 12 great Grandchildren; and brother Jim (Marjorie) Barnes. Alice was preceded in death by her parents and first husband Harold Thomas Augustus, Jr.
