Mary Jane Rayon, 67, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 P.M. , Saturday, February 7, 2015 at First Assembly Church – Blue Roof, 3084 Niles Rd. St. Joseph. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, February 6, 2015 at Starks and Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial to follow at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Alpena, MI. Mary was born May 13, 1947 in Alpena, MI to Earl and Lenore (Kinsel) Jones. She was a graduate of Alpena High School. On August 14, 1965 she married the love of her life, Ronald Rayon, in Alpena, MI. In 1996, Mary and Ron founded Grace Christian Center Church in their family home. Along with her faith, Mary’s family was very important to her. She loved to tend to her children and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. When she wasn’t spending time with her family or being a Pastor for their church, she could be found cooking or in her beautiful garden. Mary is survived by her loving husband Ron of 49 years; children Scott (Sara) Rayon of Benton Harbor, MI, and Stacey (Joe) Corral of Bangor, MI; grandchildren Anna Corral, Andrew (Audree) Rayon, Chad Rayon, and Seth Rayon; great grandchildren Emma Rayon and Violet Rayon; sisters Barbara (Leon) LaMay of Alpena, Ruth (James) Daoust of Flint, MI, and Karen (Howard) Smith of Alpena; brothers Eugene Jones and Dick (Dianna) Jones both of Alpena. She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Lenore Jones.
