Rose's Obituary
Rose Schiffmeyer, 87, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at her home.
A Mass Celebrating her life will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 9, 2015 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 555 Delaware, Benton Harbor with Fr. William Jacobs Jr. officiating. Friends may visit from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Rose was born June 18, 1927 in Kentucky to John & Elizabeth (Chwear) Feldman. On May 31, 1947 she married Thomas Schiffmeyer in Cincinnati, OH. Rose was a hard working wife and mother. In spare time she enjoyed dancing and a good conversation.
Rose is survived by her daughter Connie (Joey) Love-Diaz of St. Joseph; grandsons Christopher (Susan) Finn of Oregon and Daniel (Deborah) Finn of Benton Township; three great grandchildren Mason, Danielle, Daphne Finn; sister Agnes Luensman and William Feldman. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, and eight brothers and sisters.
