Milton J Fox, 92, of St. Joseph, MI, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville, MI.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 619 Market St., St. Joseph, MI, with Pastor Thomas Batsky officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday, December 8, 2014 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Hospice at Home. Milton was born June 30, 1922 in Scottville, MI, to Eugene and Maude (Andre) Fox. He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII, serving from October of 1942 until January of 1946. Milton was employed as a Tool & Die Maker, retiring from State Tool & Gage in Benton Harbor after 30 years. On June 23, 1991 he married Lois (Nitz) Rudduck in St. Joseph. Milton was very involved in the community. He was a member of Benton Harbor VFW Post #1137, Stevensville American Legion Post #568, as well as a former volunteer at Watervliet Community Hospital. Milton was also an active member and volunteer at Trinity Lutheran Church. In his spare time Milton enjoyed gardening.
Milton is survived by his wife, Lois Fox of St. Joseph; sister Mary (Ben) Naumann of Benton Harbor; sister-in-laws Ilene Fox of Sodus and Ethel Fox of Grand Rapids; and many cherished nieces and nephews. Milton was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Velma Warsko, and brothers Harold, John, and Millard Fox.
