Irene Leatz

Irene Leatz, 92, of Stevensville, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Royalton Manor in St. Joseph, MI. Irene is survived by a son, Larry (Darlene) of Valparaiso, IN; two daughters, Bonnie (Alan) Defries and Donna (Roger) Cayo, both of Stevensville; six grandchildren, Scott (Cheri) Defries of Stevensville, Kim (Kevin) Schroeder of Aurora, IL, Ed (Win) Cayo of Plainfield, IL, Kari (Tom) Boerger of Lincoln, NE, Dan (Tina) Cayo of Aurora, CO, and Beth (Tim) Childs of Aurora, CO; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Leatz, and daughter Deborah Leatz. A private family service will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Services. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Royalton Manor along with the Hospice nurses from Hospice at Home for their outstanding care and compassion that was shown to Irene throughout the past six years.
