Kraig's Obituary

Kraig K. Josenhans, 75, of Stevensville, formerly of New Buffalo, Michigan and Las Vegas, NV, passed away, Friday, October 17, 2014 at Crown Pointe Senior Living Center in Stevensville, Michigan. Celebration of Life Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday at Crown Pointe Senior Living Center, 4232 Red Arrow Hwy., Stevensville.  Memorial donations may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice in Kalamazoo.  Those wishing to sign Kraig’s Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Kraig was born August 13, 1939 in Benton Harbor, to Karl & Geraldine “Jerri” (Sternaman) Josenhans.  He graduated from New Buffalo High School in 1957 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from the University of Las Vegas.  He founded and developed the Children’s Campus in Las Vegas and a child-care program at the Las Vegas Hilton-MGM Grand, which was then implemented at many other casinos and hotels.  He was active in his church in Wildwood, Florida as a Stephen’s Minister and enjoyed gardening when he resided at Crown Pointe. Kraig is survived by his sister Cynthia (Joseph M.) Fleck of Bridgman; two nieces-Dapheny (R.J.) Johnson, Jennifer (Brian) Maerz; great nieces & nephews-Hannah & Ian Covert, Trent, Samuel & Benjamin Johnson, and Hunter & Macie Maerz.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
