David was born on November 4, 1945 in Grand Rapids, MI. He graduated from Watervliet High School. David went on to receive his pipefitters apprenticeship during which his travels took him to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. David married Bonnie Jean Butcher on June 16, 1978 and they were blessed with two daughters. Most recently he owned and managed rental properties. David enjoyed the simple pleasures of life: corvettes, horses, Nascar, the Bulls, baby and stray animals, boats, buffets, and all of mother nature’s beautiful wonders. David re-committed his life to the Lord and we know we will one day see him in Heaven. It’s never “goodbye,” dad… just a sweet “I’ll catch you later.”
David is survived by his wife Bonnie Jean Fizzell and daughters, Allison Marie Benard of Chicago, IL, and Kelley Elsa Fizzell of Holmdel, NJ. He was preceded by his parents Theo and Deane Fizzell and brother William Fizzell.
