Llloyd H. Zindler

Lloyd H. Zindler, 90, of Benton Harbor, MI passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 at the Willows Assisted Living in St. Joseph. Lloyd was born August 8, 1923 in Benton Harbor, MI to Theodore & Alvina (Krieger) Zindler. He was a graduate of Benton Harbor High School. He worked as a Tool & Die Maker at Clark Equipment for 35 years. Lloyd loved traveling and enjoyed his vacations to Europe, Hawaii and the Caribbean. He was a dog lover and enjoyed raising Collies. He is survived by his sons Frank Zindler of Columbus, OH, and Theodore (Judy) Zindler of Benton Harbor, MI; stepsons Robert Raiff and Russell (Laura) Raiff; grandchildren Mike Zindler, Roger Zindler and Catherine Zindler; step grandchildren Peter Raiff, Charles Raiff,  Mike Pond, Eric Pond and Marcy Simpson; 3 great grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Edna Somogi in 1975; his second wife Lois Powell Raiff in 2001; his brothers Elmer Zindler and Roger Zindler; and daughter in law Ann Zindler in January of 2013.
