Steve Anstey, 58, of Stevensville, passed away, Friday, July 25, 2014 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville. Steve was born October 28, 1955 in St. Joseph to Thomas J. & Kathleen (Hosbein) Anstey.  He graduated from Lakeshore High School in 1972.  Steve owned & operated Steve Anstey Dirt Farm in Baroda from 1974 until 2004.  He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Steve had a passion for classic vehicles, especially trucks.  Everyone remembers hearing him say “I’ll do it myself”. Steve is survived by his children-Joseph (Sarah) Anstey of Harpursville, NY, Valerie Anstey & her fiancée Michael Burke of Binghamton, NY, Daniel (Erica) Anstey of Virginia Beach, VA; his former wife and mother of his children Kathleen Anstey of St. Joseph; seven grandchildren; his parents Thomas & Kathleen Anstey of Stevensville; siblings-Mike (Bonnie) Anstey of Benton Harbor, Dave Anstey of St. Joseph, Tom (Judy) Anstey of Buchanan, Mark Anstey of Port Richey, FL, Kathy (Justin) Kochs of St. Joseph, Rob (Christine) Anstey of Berrien Springs; and numerous nieces & nephews.
