Daniel M. Malaski

Daniel Joseph Malaski, 59, of Eau Claire, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Lakeland Medical Center – St. Joseph. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Daniel was born on May 5, 1955 in Millburg, Michigan; his parents were George & Martha Malaski. Dan’s father was the owner of the Hartford Motor Speedway, where Dan spent many fun hours as a child. He graduated from Hartford High School and was a  member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He had a special gift when he played the Organ, he made it sing. Dan played the organ for numerous church services. Prior to retirement, Dan was employed by McDonald’s in Stevensville and Coloma. He also worked for Spinnaker’s Restaurant in St. Joseph. Dan loved working and contributing to society. One of Dan’s favorite pastimes was having a meal and enjoying the company of his friends at Thornton’s Home Town Café in St. Joseph. Dan’s favorite holiday was Cinco de Mayo, which he celebrated every year. Dan had the ability to make lasting friendships where ever he went. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother David Malaski, and longtime friend John Vogel. Dan will be missed by all of his dear friends.
