June W. Travis

June was born in Houston, Texas on November 13, 1918 to Hans A. and Evelyn (Mason) Willrich, and died peacefully at the home of her daughter, Suzanne T. Carson, on July 4, 2014. She spent most of her life in Houston, graduating from Rice institute (Now Rice University). After graduation, she started work at a coffee company owned by the C.W. Duncan family, which was later bought by The Coca-Cola Company. Retiring from Coca-Cola, June went to work for Duncan Interests and finally retired from there. June moved to Saint Joseph, Michigan in 2000 to live with her daughter. She is survived by her daughter and granddaughter, Diane Willis. Her parents and a brother, Hans A. Jr., preceded her in death. Cremation was provided by Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Services in Saint Joseph and her cremains will be buried in the Willrich family plot in Houston.
