Becky Pschigoda

Becky Pschigoda, 62, of Berrien Center, passed away, Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville. A Celebration of Life Service for Becky and her daughter Katrina, who passed away May 9, 2014 will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rev. William Shepard officiating.  Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph.  Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Becky was born May 4, 1952 in Zanesville, Ohio to Henry & Mary (Butcher) White.  She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1970 and from Lake Michigan College as a Registered Nurse.  She was employed at Mercy Hospital, Benton Harbor in 1973 as a surgical nurse, later transferring to Lakeland, St. Joseph from where she retired in 2005. On April 2, 1977, she married William “Bill” Pschigoda in St. Joseph.  Becky was a member of the American Organization of Registered Nurses and in her spare time enjoyed scrap booking, cross stitching, making cards and an annual trip to Mackinac Island. Becky is survived by her husband Bill; two children-Brad Pschigoda of Berrien Center, Sara Pschigoda of Minneapolis, MN; and a granddaughter Madilyn Pschigoda.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Stephen White, and her daughter Katrina.
