Richard A. Grande

Richard “Dick” Grande, 70, of Benton Harbor, MI passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the University of Michigan Medical Center with his wife by his side. A Private Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date. Dick was born February 19, 1944 in Benton Harbor, MI to Vincent “Tom” & Marion (Kehrer) Grande. On September 11, 1965 he wed Barbara Sisk in Benton Harbor, MI. He worked at Gast manufacturing for 26 years as a group leader for the maintenance department before retiring. Dick’s passion was building steam engines. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Barbara; daughter Pam Freeman on Stevensville; grandchildren Joshua, Amanda, Marissa, Kelsey, Kenneth, Mikala; 9 great- grandchildren; and special cousin Beverly Phillips of Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents.
