Mary Ann Freudenburg

Mary Ann Freudenburg, 66, of Hartford, formerly St. Joseph, passed away, Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Doral Jackson. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.  Memorial donations may be made to the Freudenburg family in care of Alfred. Mary was born October 3, 1947 in Benton Harbor to Lester & Rosalie (Nehring) Krause, Sr.  She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1965. On March 5, 1977 she married Alfred Freudenburg in St. Joseph. She worked for All-Phase Electric and Swan Oil. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter & sister.  She enjoyed crafts, fishing, antiques and spending time with her family. Mary is survived by her husband Alfred; three daughters-Lori (Lerke) Hartline & Michelle (Michael) (Lerke) Sobralski, both of Coloma, Alicia (Tom) Barry of Battle Creek; three grandchildren-Chelsea Potts, Miranda Sobralski, Harlie Hartline; three great-grandchildren; her mother Rosalie Krause of St. Joseph; her brother Lester (Ellen) Krause, Jr. of St. Joseph; and her sister Anne (Walter) Street, Jr. of Dowagiac.  She was preceded in death by her father Lester Krause Sr. and son Eric Freudenburg.
