Charles “Chuck” Ressler, 51, of Buchanan, MI passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3:00 P.M. Monday, June 9, 2014 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Christopher Noffke officiating. Friends & family may visit from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Ressler Family. Chuck was born November 27, 1962 in Fort Dix, NJ to Harry & Arlene (Fingerhoot) Ressler. He graduated from Douglas High School in South Dakota in 1980 and Lake Michigan College. On September 1, 1995 he married Glenda Strode in St. Joseph. Charles worked for the Chikaming township water department. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, driving around his 1962 Cadillac, and his Mastiffs Logan and Rogue.
Chuck is survived by his parents Harry & Arlene Ressler of Sawyer; wife Glenda Ressler of Buchanan; children Erik (Amy) Ressler of Galien, Denise (David) Rogers of Eau Claire, and Sarah (Tim) Perkins of Niles; six grandchildren Brent, Sean, Angie, Dominic, Brooklyn, and Daniel; and two brothers Rick (Margo) Ressler of Sawyer and Bill Ressler of Pennsylvania.
