Doryce's Obituary

Doryce Mae (Danby) Waggott is now dancing in the arms of her husband in heaven, after passing away at Woodland Terrace, Bridgman MI., March 19, 2014 with family beside her.   Doryce was born September 11, 1919 to Neil & Bessie (Butters) Danby in Lansing, MI. She married Donald D. Waggott March 8, 1941, who preceded her in death in 2001. Doryce was a wonderful wife, a great mother, a fabulous homemaker and fun loving grandmother and great-grandmother.  She is survived by her four children; Doug Waggott of Olivet, MI, Diane (Paul) Voegtler of Delton, MI, Dorothy Jean Best of Sanger, CA., Mary Lou (Arden) Anthony of St. Joseph, MI; 9 grandchildren- Jeff Klann, Kristy Worthington, Tim Klann, Lance Lamphier, Kyle Lamphier, Annette Williamson, Angela Scrivner, Jennifer Pullins & Ryan Anthony; 17 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Alice (Ed) Foote and Barb Hunt of Michigan. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by brother Richard Danby, sisters Donna Pollard, Alta Lou Danby and daughter-in-law Eileen Kerr Waggott.   Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private graveside memorial will be held at a later date. In-kind donations may be made to Woodland Terrace in her honor, where she had resided for nearly 12 years and leaves behind many wonderful caregivers who dearly loved her.
