Judy A. Ketelhut

Judy A. Ketelhut, 61, of Eau Claire, passed away, Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at her home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:30 A.M. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev. Paul Naumann officiating.  Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery, Bainbridge Township.  Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Judy was born June 8, 1952 in Benton Harbor to Fredrick & Margaret (Smith) Nelson.  She graduated from Benton Harbor High School, Class of 1970 as a member of the National Honors Society, and earned an Associate’s Degree from Lake Michigan College.  On June 5, 1976, she married Michael Ketelhut in Benton Harbor.  Judy was employed for thirty-plus years at Patterson Printing and Burch Printers in Benton Harbor.  In her free time Judy enjoyed tending to her flower gardens. Judy is survived by her husband Michael; her brother Jack Nelson of Benton Harbor; two brothers-in-law-Donald Weckwerth & Ronald (Cheryl) Ketelhut, both of Watervliet; four nephews; one niece; and her best friend Claudia Kelly of Benton Harbor.  She was preceded in death by her parents Fredrick & Margaret Nelson, her sister-in-law Susan Weckwerth, and her father-in-law & mother-in-law Stanley & Alberta Ketelhut.
