Robert Stacy

Robert “Bob” Stacy, 87, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Tim Pietrogallo officiating. Friends may visit from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI.  Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Hospice at Home. Bob served his country in the United States Navy from 1945 until 1947. On September 13, 1968 he married Delores Brunke Grumbir in St. Joseph. Bob was a Metal Pattern Maker for Bendix/Bosch for over thirty years. He was an avid golfer and bowler and enjoyed horse races. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. Robert is survived by his wife Delores Stacy of St. Joseph; sons Frank (Cathy) Grumbir of Stevensville, Mark Grumbir of Pace, FL and Scott (Santina) Grumbir of St. Joseph; six grandchildren Adam, Kelly, Eva, Emy, Justin (Katie), Andrea Grumbir; brother William (Marilyn) Stacy of TX. Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
