Julia Jean Still, 89, formally of Coloma & Watervliet, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013 in Vernal, Utah where she most recently resided. Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 27 at Coloma Cemetery with Rev. Michael Schmid officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Stroke Association or the First Missionary Baptist Church in Coloma. Those wishing to sign Julia’s Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Jean was born January 11, 1924 in Saffell, Arkansas to Tom and Bertie (Long) Hennessee. On September 15, 1947, she married Gerald L. Still. She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Coloma. Jean loved growing her flowers and would show them off every time you came to see her. Jean is survived by two sons-Jerry W. (Ruth) Still of Watervliet, Pastor Jimmy D. (Cindy) Still of Lapoint, Utah; grandchildren-Michael W. Still, Jeri L. Stelter, Lori A. Groth & Lisa M. Meester; great-grandchildren-Heather, Dakota, Mahalia, Kaytria, Julissa & Avery; great-great-grandchildren-Ayden & Tyler; her sister Hazel B. Perkley of Cave City, Arkansas; and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald L. Still, parents Tom & Bertie Hennessee, and two brothers-Calvin & James Hennessee.
