Lois Craig

Lois Craig, 82, of Stevensville, MI passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. A Private Service will be held Friday, December 6, 2013 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. Lois was born May 25, 1931 in Benton Harbor, MI to Allen & Frieda (Livesay) Ziemke. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School. Lois was a full time homemaker who kept a busy schedule caring for her family and many other young children. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, puzzles, and playing the piano. Lois is survived by her children Jay (Deborah) Craig of Benton Harbor, Terri (Victor) Pignatiello of Tinley Park, IL, Martin (Barbara) Craig of St. Joseph, Michael (Sandra) Craig of Stevensville, and Colleen (Patrick) Sperlik of Grand Rapids, MI; grandchildren Kelly Craig, Kristopher & Amanda Craig, Bret, Laura, Geoffrey & Lindsey Pignatiello, Beatrice Craig, Cory & Jennifer Craig, Dillon & Jordan Sperlik; great grandchildren Miles Jay Craig, Alyssa, Ana, and Nicholas Pignatiello; and sister Barbara (Patrick) McIntosh of Stevensville. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, sister Shirley Underwood and brother Allen Ziemke Jr. Lois was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She will be loved forever and greatly missed by all.
