Deborah K. Nemitz

Deborah “Debbie” K. Nemitz, 54, of St. Joseph passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at her parent’s home. Debbie was born on September 17, 1959 in St. Joseph, MI to Gerald & Marylin (Mitchell) Nemitz. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1977. She started her career in 1995 and worked in the St. Joseph Public School System as a food service manager at Upton Middle School. Debbie loved spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed reading a good book. Debbie will be remembered for her hard work, great cooking and being a wonderful mother she will be missed dearly. She is survived by her sons Erik Peden of Benton Harbor and Drew Peden of St. Joseph, grandson Kamrin and granddaughter Alyse, step daughter Marilyn (Adam) Jones of St. Joseph, step grandchildren Jordon, Carson, Henry and Kellan, parents Gerald “Jerry” & Marylin Nemitz of St. Joseph, brothers Bill (Sue) Nemitz of St. Joseph and Steve Nemitz of St. Joseph, and nieces Nicole and Stacy.
