Geneva was born on February 23, 1919, to Thomas and Margaret Mae Crocker in Dalhart, Texas. Following high school graduation in Joliet, IL, she attended Anderson College in Anderson, IN. There she met the love of her life, Cecil W. Baldwin. They married on July 14, 1940 and had two children, Renard (Phyllis) Baldwin of St. Joseph, and Sandra Carter of Anderson, IN.
Geneva devoted her life and talents to Christian Education and Church music, serving in those capacities in the churches her husband pastored in Indiana, Colorado, Kentucky, and Illinois. She served in many leadership roles in the local congregations where they served, as well as at the state and national levels of the Church of God, in the areas of Christian Education development and training. In her retirement years, she enjoyed oil painting, at which she became quite accomplished.
Geneva adored being with and talking about her 4 grand children, Lisa Pay of Anderson, IN, Scott (Meagan) Dawson of Bellingham, WA , Krista (Greg) Matas of Collierville, TN, and Renelle Bouffard of Chagrin Falls, OH. Her extreme delights were her 8 great grand children, Morgan and Maddie Pay, Eva and Carter Dawson, Kira and Bryce Matas, and Claire and Maggie Bouffard.
Geneva is survived by her husband Cecil of 73 years, her children, grand children, great grand children, and one brother, James Crocker, of Conifer, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 10 siblings–2 sisters and 8 brothers.
