Jeanne Marlene Thole, 76 of St. Joseph passed away at her home on Sunday, September 1, 2013.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 P.M Wednesday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel , 2650 Niles Road , St. Joseph; officiated by Pastor Kenneth Craig; with burial to follow at Lincoln Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 to 12:00 Wednesday. Memorials may be given to Best Friends, 434 Western Benton Harbor 49022 or First Landmark Missionary Baptist Chapel, 3835 South Washington Ave. St. Joseph 49085.

Jeanne was born on June 2, 1937 at Mercy hospital in Benton Harbor to Paul & Nina (Armbrust) Falkenstein. She graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. Degree.
On September 4, 1971 she married Henry Thole at St. Peters UCC in St. Joseph. Jeanne & Henry owned H & J florist which they purchased from the House of David in the late 70’s. She enjoyed working with flowers and taking care of different animals.
She is survived by her devoted husband Henry; sisters-in-law, Levinia Krumroy of Berrien Center and Pat Thole of Niles; brother-in-law Walter (Pat) Thole of Wisconsin, nieces and nephews.
