David Spruell

David Spruell, 63, of Watervliet, MI passed away Friday, July 5, 2013 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at First Church of God, 2627 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor David Colp officiating. A private burial will be held at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma on Wednesday. Friends may visit from 3:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be made to the First Church of God. David was born March 3, 1950 in Benton Harbor, MI to Edward & Mary Evelyn (Bennett) Spruell Jr. He served his country in the United States Army from 1967 until 1973. David enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his family. David is survived by his wife Bessie of MI; children Victoria Creasy of FL, Jennifer Spruell of MI, Timothy Salmon of MI, Chrisynthia (Chuck) Casper of IN, and Tabetha (Herman) Barry of MI; mother Mary Evelyn Spruell of MI; sister Barbara (Bob) Jackson of TX; and 8 grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his father Edward Spruell Jr., daughter Davida Spruell, and sister Linda Teliman.
