Eleanor Marie Hildebrand

Eleanor M. Hildebrand, 87, of St. Joseph, MI passed away July 31, 2013 at Caretel Inns of Lakeland in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 2, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 619 Market St., St. Joseph with Reverend Thomas Batsky officiating. Burial to follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Friends may visit from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Hospice at Home. She was a graduate of Benton Harbor High School. On October 29, 1949 she married Arthur Hildebrand in St. Joseph, MI. Eleanor worked as a banker at Chemical Bank for 44 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was a very active member for numerous church activities. She was also a volunteer at Lakeland. Eleanor enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters Beth (Brian) Cipriano of Downers Grove, IL, Karen Willming of South Haven, MI and Laura (David) Parsons of St. Joseph, MI. Grandchildren Morgan Willming, Margaret Cipriano and Michael Cipriano; and several nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur in 2007, granddaughter Meagan Willming in 1987, brothers John Gerencser, William Gerenscser and sister Velma Lillegard.
