Wayne's Obituary
Wayne G. Orme, 66, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, MI.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd. St. Joseph, with Mark Orme officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Aspen Hill Cemetery in Jackson, WY. Memorial contributions may to made to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan or the West Hawaii Aids Foundation. Wayne was born January 16, 1947 in Idaho Falls, ID to Grant Eyre & Vella Lorraine (Gosselin) Orme. Wayne attended the University of Utah where he received his Bachelor’s in Business. Wayne went on to work as a regional manager for several rental car businesses.
Wayne appreciated all the care he received from his neighbors, caregivers and the staff at Lakeland Regional Medical Center during his illness.
Wayne is survived by his brothers Mark (Shirley) Orme of Teton, ID and Roger (Kristin) Orme of Idaho Falls, ID, 9 nieces and nephews and 24 grand nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Pamela (Anton) Metzger.
Wayne was preceded in death by his life partner Leon Kampe in July 2012, and his parents.
