Bette DiMiceli

Bette, DiMiceli, 90, of Watervliet, MI passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 4:00 Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Zion United Church of Christ, 9100 Church St., in Baroda with Pastor Dr. Christopher Noffke officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Watervliet Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice at Home or the Humane Society of S.W. Michigan. Those wishing to share a memory of Bette online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Bette was born May 10, 1923 in Watervliet, MI to Theodore & Olive (Simpson) Boyer. She graduated from Watervliet High School. Bette served her country in the United States Navy. After the Navy Bette married Louis DiMiceli from Coloma. Bette was a full time homemaker who kept a busy schedule caring for her family. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Coloma. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, painting, animals and was a wonderful seamstress. Bette is survived by her daughters Teri (Alan) Mottl of Buchanan, MI, Toni (Jeffery) Gaul of Baroda, MI, and Cheryl of FL; daughter-in-law Linda DiMiceli of Valrico, FL; seven grandchildren Robin, Rochelle, Rusty, Tony, Cristina, Nick and Alan Jr.; eight great grandchildren; sister Frances Mills of Mill Creek, WA; step-sister Connie Dushek of Berrien Springs; and many nieces & nephews. Bette was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Dan DiMiceli, and sister Jean Beckwith.
