Katherine Rudell

Katherine Rudell, 100, of Benton Harbor, MI passed away Wednesday April 24, 2013 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. A Private Service will be held at a later date at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Service. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Katherine was born March 24, 1913 in Kenosha, WI to Christoff & Margarethe (Bodven) Becker. On July 2, 1932 she married Andrew Rudell in South Bend, IN. She worked for Industrial Rubber for 42 years. Katherine was a hard worker and also kept a busy schedule caring for her family. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling. Katherine is survived by her son Gene Rudel; six grandchildren Teresa (Frank) McCain, Renee (Jeff) Buchele, Kimberly (Michael) Smithers, Gene (Chris) Rudel, Jr., Rahn (Cindy) Rudel, and Mark (Cindy) Rudel; and four great grandchildren, Anna McCain, Trey Smithers, Andy Buchele, and R.J. Rudel. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Myron, sister Anna Ball and brother George Becker.
