Betty was born January 31, 1934 in Herrick, IL to Walter & Myrtle (Walker) Carlock.
On December 13, 1952 she married Earl Williams at Euclid Center Church of God in Benton Heights, MI. Betty was a homemaker after retirement who kept a busy schedule caring for her family. She enjoyed going to the YMCA to attend her exercise classes (especially with her grand-daughter Kylie), reading and spending time with friends. She loved to spend time with the love of her life (husband Earl), and other family members and friends. She was very proud of Lauren getting ready to graduate from Lakeshore High School and loved listening to her play her trumpet. She was very proud of her grandson Bryan who is currently serving in the Air Force. She was blessed with the opportunity to meet her first great-grandson Logan before she passed.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, son Rodger (Christine) Williams of Stevensville, her grandchildren; Bryan(Lindsey) Williams of Travis Air Force Base, CA, Lauren and Kylie (Stevensville) and Miranda, great grandson, Logan of CA, brothers: Walter (Lillian) Carlock, of Virginia, and Nelson ‘Gene’ (Vicky) Carlock of Arizona as well as many nieces, nephews and good friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her son Ronald “Ronnie” Williams, her parents, and her sisters Esther Carlock Monte Bielicki and Thelma Tunis.
