Norma's Obituary
Norma E. Kramp, 94, of Benton Harbor, went to meet her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at her home.
A Celebration of Life Eternal will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1965 Broadway Ave., Benton Harbor, with Rev. Paul Naumann officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma. Friends may visit from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Sunday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Norma was born July 20, 1918 in Benton Harbor to Herman & Ida (Dunkel) Kutschinski. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School and attended Twin Cities Business College. On November 25, 1950, she married Warren Kramp in Benton Harbor. Norma worked for Fidelity Health & Accident Insurance Co. in Benton Harbor before starting her family. She later assisted Pastor at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with some district responsibilities. Norma was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and participated in Ladies Bible Hour, Ladies Aide, and OWLS. She volunteered at Michigan Lutheran High School and the Lighthouse Attic. In her free time, Norma enjoyed baking, tending to her flower & vegetable gardens, canning the harvest from her garden and local fruit farms, especially her jellies & jams, and spending the day fishing on one of the local inland lakes with Warren and a picnic lunch. She was dearly loved by her family and many friends.
Norma is survived by her husband Warren; three sons-Larry (Deb) Kramp of St. Joseph, Duane (Nada) Kramp of Stevensville, Roger (Beth) Kramp of Milwaukee, WI; six grandchildren-Peter (Michelle), Shelley (Michael), Erik, Megan, Amie & Laura; four great-grandchildren-Joseph, Isaiah, Justin & Lillian; numerous nieces, nephews & friends. She was preceded in death by eight brothers & sisters-Alfred & Clarence Kutschinski, Elaine Riley, Dorothy Petroski, Alice Kutschinski, Lucy Nimtz, Florence Johnson & Lillian LeBon.
