Bodie Mills

Bodie Joe Mills, Sr., 49, of St. Joseph, passed away, Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at home. Celebration of Life Services will be held 4:00 P.M. Friday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may visit with the family Friday beginning at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family. He was employed as a master electrician in the commercial construction industry in Texas. Bodie was an avid football fan. The Dallas Cowboys were his favorite team. He enjoyed playing poker, the out-of-doors, fishing, and Lake Michigan. Bodie is survived by his children-Bodie J. Mills, Jr. of St. Joseph, Destanie Sohns of Waco, TX, Tristan Mills of St. Joseph, Kara Mills of Austin, TX, Darrien Mills of San Antonio, TX, Dakota Mills of Tomball, TX, Trevor Mills of Goldthwait, TX; three grandchildren-Trevor Mills, Gracie Kemp, & Raeleigh Normandin; his mother Joyce Mixon of Ruston, LA; his siblings-Cody Mills, Slade Mills, Vicki Trammell, Sherrie (Ricardo) Guzman-all of Ruston, LA, Neta Hendrixson of Shreveport, LA; and numerous nieces & nephews. Bodie was preceded in death by his father.
