They were some of the best and funniest people in the world and were all truly a blessing. Many of them were there to visit her and help take care of her at the end of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin & Jean Keiser, brother-in-law Cole Cunningham (husband to sister Leah), her son-in-law Randy Hendrickson, and her birth daughter’s adoptive father Chet Pietrowicz. Linda graduated from Muskegon Catholic High School in Muskegon, MI, in 1966. She was a Registered Nurse for over 35 years and spent the last 25 years working for Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. The first 15 years at Lakeland she worked in the Critical Care Unit with wonderful people, many of whom helped care for her as a patient there near the end of her life. Over the last 10 years she has worked as a nurse in the Heart Center at Lakeland Hospital. Beyond being a nurse, she loved spending time with family, whether it was a large scale family reunion with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews – where she would make blueberry pies or blueberry cheesecake. Or just hanging with her grandkids or getting to some of their scholastic & sporting events. She loved to travel with her husband and take vacations to Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania. Linda and her husband John were both very avid gardeners and loved working on their yards at home. Visitation for Linda will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with prayers being recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2013, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd. St. Joseph, MI.
