William's Obituary
William “Bill” T. Lampman, 76, of St. Joseph, passed away in his home on Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Memorial services will take place at a later date, with his final resting place being at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. William was born on August 7, 1936 in St. Paul, Minnesota. William was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Bill was employed at Whirlpool’s Laundry Group as a Product Designer for 36 years. He worked on many innovative projects which resulted in nine U.S. Patents and three international patents.
Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, coaching baseball, hunting with his sons, and relaxing at his lake home.
Bill is survived by his wife Darlene; his children, Vicki MacKenzie (Gary Kunkel) of St. Joseph, William Lampman of Logan, New Mexico, Julie Zych of Benton Township; his beloved dog Miley; and two sisters, Carol of Minnesota and Sunny of Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Steven, and brothers George and Bob.
