Dianna L. Pedro

Dianna L. Pedro, 54, of St. Joseph, passed away unexpectedly at home. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 11:30 A.M. Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev. Gail Holman officiating. Memorials may be made to the family. Those wishing to sign Dianna’s Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Dianna was born September 25, 1958 in Benton Harbor to Richard & Martha (DeFields) Wydner. She attended Benton Harbor High School and became a Certified Nursing Assistant after attending San Joaquin Delta College in California. Dianna attended St. Peter’s Church in St. Joseph and volunteered at the homeless shelter in Benton Harbor. She enjoyed watching baseball-especially the Detroit Tigers, playing softball, fishing, listening to music, going to concerts, dancing and tending to her flower & vegetable gardens. She loved animals, especially her dog Hoodie, and living in St. Joseph where she could enjoy the beauty of nature at Silver Beach as the sun set over Lake Michigan. Dianna is survived by her daughter Jenna (David) Howard of Watervliet; three grandchildren-Zoey, Wyatt & Maecy Howard; and her extended family in California. She was preceded in death by her mother & step-father, her father & step-mother, and a half-sister.
