Mildred's Obituary
Mildred H. Price, 95, of St. Joseph went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.
A Celebration of Life Eternal will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 25, 2013 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2673 W. John Beers, Stevensville with Pastor Jonathan Kruschel officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may visit from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Sunday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Capital Improvement Fund or Hospice at Home. Mildred was born August 22, 1917 in Stevensville to Paul & Augusta (Zuhl) Kolberg. On November 17, 1962, she married Charles Price in Stevensville. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Mildred enjoyed music, polka dancing, and playing Euchre. She cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was known for her lovely smile, no matter what the situation.
Mildred is survived by her daughter Artis (Bill) Bloom of St. Joseph; seven grandchildren-Charlene Maloney, Steve Nitz, Cheryl Miller, Blake “Buzz” Bloom, Stacey Dye, Jamie Harris, Regan Craven; 3 step-grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Price on February 16, 2012 and first husband Warren “Bud” Harris, her son James Harris, and by siblings-Oscar, Clarence, Walter, Harry, Alvin & Edna Kolberg and Ruby Berndt.
